See Through Windows updated to 1.0.5http://www.mobzystems.com/tools/seethroughwindows/Wed, 03 Aug 2011 20:17:36 GMThttp://www.mobzystems.com/1709See Through Windows was updated to version 1.0.5. The changes:

  • Option to make windows 'Click-Through' in addition to transparent. A Click-Through window cannot be clicked with the mouse: you click right through it, as it were
  • Option to keep 'Click-Through' windows on top of all other windows. This is on by default, since it's all too easy to lose a Click-Through window

These new options enable you to select any window and keep it on top of your desktop as a sort of overlay. This could be useful for tracing images in a drawing application, or projecting an image or logo on your screen when making screencasts or screendumps.

Go get it at CodePlex. Available in 32 and 64 bits, as usual.

See Through Windows updated to 1.0.3http://www.mobzystems.com/tools/seethroughwindows/Sun, 15 May 2011 16:49:03 GMThttp://www.mobzystems.com/1696To avoid conflicts when using Windows+Up/Down and Windows+Left/Right, these hotkeys can be turned off. As of Windows 7, they always cause a conflict, so from version 1.0.3 on, See Through Windows uses a new set of hotkeys. In fact, the old ones, only with the Control-key added. So:

  • Ctrl+Win+Up/Down maximizes/minimizes windows
  • Ctrl+Win+Left/Right sends windows to the previous/next monitor

Download from CodePlex as usual. Enjoy!

New hotkeys in See Through Windowshttp://www.mobzystems.com/tools/seethroughwindows/Fri, 13 Feb 2009 15:37:44 GMThttp://www.mobzystems.com/1442See Through Windows now supports four more hotkeys. Windows+Up and Windows+Down (i.e. the Windows key in combination with the up and down arrow keys) maximize and minimize the current window. Try it and you'll love it. Also, if you use multiple monitors, you'll wonder how you ever got along without Windows+Left and Windows+Right, which move the current window over to the next (or previous) monitor.
